Leading the Way

For our “do-it-yourself” guests, we installed 240 new Common Use Passenger Processing System (CUPPS) kiosks with self-bag tagging capability in Terminals A, B and C. This technology enables guests to tag their own bags without waiting in line at the counter.

Real-Time Technologies—
for Real-World Convenience

  • Thanks to a new feature on our website, people can now view the capacity of each JWA parking facility before they arrive—enabling them to find availability, make better decisions and save time.
  • Tracking a flight—and timing its arrival—can be easily done from our website, which is continually updated and expanded to stay ahead of customer demands.
  • Guests who arrive at John Wayne Airport can now choose from taxicabs as well as popular options like Uber, Lyft and Wingz—giving them more flexibility and convenience for their commute.
To improve air quality, JWA requires that its taxi provider use 100 percent electric or clean burning fuel alternative vehicles.

Water Conservation
at Work

Refurbishments were completed on Riley Terminal restrooms, located on the Arrival (lower) Level in the Terminals A and B Baggage Claim areas, and across from Gates 8 and 9 on the Departure (upper) Level. The restrooms now feature new lighting, flooring, decorative tile, low-flow toilets and urinals, and automatic faucets for water conservation. We’re doing our part to conserve Orange County’s water resources.
